Ian has many years experience as a Primary practitioner, advisory teacher in Shropshire and trainer of Primary teachers at Manchester Metropolitan University. He has produced an extensive range of maths curriculum materials, served on QCA committees producing guidance on the teaching of mental and written calculation strategies and the writing and reviewing of SATs.
